About Us
Even though I am the one that created this Website, it's still About Us. I couldn't accomplish my goals for My Cinque Terre if it were not for the wonderful and loving support of my husband and son. Therefore, it's not just About Me...
As my dear friend, Cinzia says, "Every corner, every street is like a museum under the sky. That's how I feel about my Italia." And I must agree with her. I feel that way particularly for my beloved Cinque Terre, perched precariously high above the Ligurian sea.
So, because of my great love and appreciation for all that Italy (and in this case - all that Cinque Terre) has to offer, I wanted to create a place that one could go to and enjoy learning about this fabulous region.
Thus, I, along with great inspiration from my family, have planned, sweated over, and produced this Website. It's a work in progress and one that I come to with joy every moment I get the chance to work on it. I hope you'll find it to your liking and find the information valuable - especially since I know you'll want to visit Cinque Terre as soon as you can!
I am a graphic designer by trade, a mother and wife and busy with life - always. But my passion in recent years is to develop content Websites (similiar to this one - but with a wide variety of interests) that are family friendly and offer up the service of informative - and many times - fun information.
Check out some of my other sites below.
And again, thanks to my hubby and kiddo, they are very much part of this process here, as they continue to support me in my endeavor to write and research and make Websites come alive I couldn't do it without them.
Please contact me if you want to leave some feedback, add your relevant link, or want to post an article relating to your travels to the Italian Riviera. I love hearing from you and will do my best to reply as quickly as possible.
Enjoy browsing through this Website. Look up some of the history of Cinque Terre, find out about hotels, rooms for rent and quaint pensiones. And if you have a desire to learn Italian, you can find out more about that too. But whatever you do, go to this beautiful place, respect the locals and enjoy all that these “five lands” by the sea have to offer.
Thanks so much for visiting My Cinque Terre.
Ciao,
